Sales Development Representative

Job Description

Responsibilities:Engage with inbound leads from marketing campaigns and qualify them through structured discovery calls or email outreach.Proactively generate outbound opportunities by researching and reaching out to target accounts.Manage and maintain accurate lead information and pipeline activity within the CRM system.Schedule and coordinate meetings or product demos for Account Executives and senior sales staff.Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure lead quality and provide feedback for campaign optimisation.Develop a strong understanding of Client's products and value proposition to clearly communicate to prospects.Track and report on key metrics such as lead conversion rates, meeting booked-to-closed ratios, and pipeline health.Required SkillsBachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, OR significant professional experience in sales development.1-3 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or inside sales role (preferably in SaaS, GovTech, or B2B environments).Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a confident phone, email, and LinkedIn presence.Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.Ability to quickly understand technical solutions and explain them clearly to prospects.Native or fluent English speaker; additional languages are a plus.Highly organised with strong time management and task prioritisation skills.Motivated, energetic, and resilient with a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales career.
