Engage with customers to understand their preferences and guide them in making purchasing decisions. Maintain a deep knowledge of our dates and chocolate products, including their ingredients, flavors, and health benefits. Effectively communicate product features, promotions, and pricing to customers. Handle billing transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Keep the shop premises clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment and merchandising activities. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the shop. Provide product recommendations and suggest upselling opportunities to enhance the customer experience. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns promptly and professionally. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to provide valuable insights to customers and management. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines for optimal shop operations. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven track record of 4 to 5 years in retail sales, preferably in the food or confectionery industry. Fluent in English and Hindi, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages (Russian) is a plus. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach. Strong numeracy skills for accurate billing and cash handling. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain a tidy shop appearance. Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and during peak seasons as required.
