Sales Associate
Job Description
Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries and selection.
Demonstrate thorough product knowledge and explain features and benefits to customers.
Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective selling techniques and upselling.
Maintain store appearance by ensuring merchandise is organized, clean, and properly displayed.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and in line with company policies.
Monitor stock levels and replenish merchandise as needed.
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and create a positive work environment.
Stay informed about current promotions, sales events, and product launches.
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with store standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail or customer service is a plus. Proven experience in retail sales or customer service preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Basic math skills and proficiency in handling transactions. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as required.
