Key Responsibilities

  • Explain product features, benefits, and correct usage to customers, including demonstrations when required.
  • Educate customers on brand quality standards, specifications, warranties, and care instructions.
  • Advise customers on product ranges best suited to their needs and answer queries to support purchase decisions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting needs, resolving complaints, or escalating issues as per policy.
  • Stay updated on new product launches, promotions, and sales events.
  • Achieve sales targets through effective selling, up-selling, and cross-selling techniques.
  • Ensure promotions and pricing accuracy in line with company standards and policies.
  • Calculate sale prices and discounts accurately and maintain clear sales records.
  • Process cash, card, and credit payments accurately and issue invoices and receipts.
  • Operate as a cashier when required, ensuring consistent accuracy in money handling.
  • Follow after-sales procedures, including returns and repairs, in line with company policies.
  • Adhere to loss prevention measures, inventory controls, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support in-store merchandising through proper product placement and arrangement.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, presentation, and grooming at all times.
Self-Management
  • Define annual performance goals with the reporting manager and ensure achievement throughout the year.
  • Take ownership of personal development by identifying learning needs and agreeing on an individual development plan.

Ideal Profile
  • High school certificate or diploma.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in retail sales or customer service.
