Job Description

The

Sales Executive

is responsible for promoting and selling

Point-of-Sale (POS) devices and digital transaction services

, to merchants across various sectors. The Sales Executive will engage with potential and existing clients through

field visits, virtual meetings, and exhibitions

, driving

POS deployment, transaction volume growth, and client satisfaction

.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Target Achievement



Achieve

monthly and annual sales targets

for POS device deployment and activation. Drive growth in

transaction count and transaction value

by onboarding and supporting high-potential merchants. Promote

full suite of FinTech solutions

, including digital wallets, e-commerce integration, and value-added services.

2. Client Acquisition & Business Development



Conduct

in-person and virtual sales meetings

with prospective clients. Generate and qualify leads through

cold calling, referrals, and market research

. Visit clients at their

offices or preferred locations

to present solutions and close deals. Establish

new business opportunities

across target industries such as retail, hospitality, e-commerce, and F&B.

3. Customer Relationship Management



Build and maintain

long-term relationships

with merchants to drive retention and cross-selling. Act as the

primary point of contact

for customer queries, issues, and escalations. Ensure

timely resolution of customer complaints

and provide ongoing product support.

4. Sales Administration & Reporting



Maintain

accurate records

of sales activities, client interactions, signed contracts, and revenue generation. Submit

weekly sales reports and activity updates

to the Sales Manager. Participate in

weekly/monthly performance review meetings

and contribute to strategy discussions.

5. Product Knowledge & Demonstration



Effectively

demonstrate and explain POS and digital payment solutions

to clients. Stay updated on

industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements

. Provide feedback to product and technical teams on

merchant needs and market dynamics

.

6. Market Analysis & Strategy Implementation



Conduct

competitor analysis, market studies, and pricing comparisons

to enhance sales tactics. Contribute to the development of

localized sales strategies and promotional campaigns

. Work with marketing to participate in

trade exhibitions, conferences, and networking events

.

Required Skills and QualificationsEducation



Bachelor's degree in

Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field

.

Experience



2-5 years of experience

in

B2B sales

, preferably in

FinTech, banking, telecom, or merchant services

. Experience in

POS device sales, merchant onboarding, or payment gateway sales

is a strong advantage.
