Job Description

Guildhall is recruiting on behalf of a leading player in the fresh produce trading industry here in Dubai. A leading player in the fresh produce trading industry is expanding its operations in Dubai and across the GCC. We are seeking a results-driven Sales & Business Development Executive to spearhead growth in the banana trading and perishable imports sector. This role is all about client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth in one of the region's fastest-moving markets.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand banana trading operations in Dubai and GCC
  • Identify and engage new clients (wholesalers, supermarkets, distributors, hospitality groups)
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure revenue growth
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to secure profitable deals
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics
  • Work with logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales or business development (fresh produce, FMCG, or trading)
  • Banana industry or perishable goods trading experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Dubai/GCC markets and trading practices
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Fluency in English (Arabic or French a plus)
  • Willingness to travel across GCC when required
