Job Description

The role holder will contribute to the performance of the company by facilitating the skills he /she has acquired through past experiences in the Sales & Marketing Department. The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for soliciting, selling, and contracting rooms within your assigned market. The team member will drive group bookings and sales leads and increase conversion and be also responsible for month-end reporting and tracking of account production. He/She will contribute to the performance of the hotel by assisting the development and effective implementation and promotional strategies for the positiong of the property as highly desirable to its identified markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Relationship and Teamwork:

. Entertains and conducts hotel inspections to clients whenever required.

. Establishes and maintains strong relationship with the established clientele and constantly explores into new business opportunities.

. Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure guestroom rate integrity

. Liaises and works closely with the related operation departments ensuring guests requests and expectations are being met.

Requirements

Marketing Duties:

. Contributes to the creative process from creative brief to delivery for hotel communications collateral and websites (both internal and external) and the creation of copy to support this in cooperation with the Wyndham Corporate Office.

. Manages and coordinates the hotel communications plan to ensure that all communications are targeted at the right audience and delivered on time.

. Ensures all activity fits into the hotel communications plan to avoid duplication or over communication.

. Assists the DOSM in handling the issuance of press releases and features about the property to local national and international media when appropriate.

. Writes and keep up to date the hotel's press kit, newsletters and developments plans,

. Manages the online content and imagery of the Hotel and the Spa

. Manages the advertising function in such a way that all advertisements are effective and reflect a positive image of the company.

. Supports on the development and implementation of PR and communication plans and projects

. Supports on the social media channels of the hotels and restaurants.

Business Strategy:

. Establishes an efficient trace File to ensure that all business booked is properly tracked.

. Follows up sales leads to identify prospect accounts.

. Assists to achieve the monthly and annual personal target contributing to the Sales revenue.

. Schedules daily sales activities ( Sales Calls, Site Inspection, Entertainments)

Product Knowledge:

. To develop a good knowledge of Opera Sales & Catering & PMS systems

. Assists to conduct extensive competitor research and maintains excellent Product Knowledge of the Hotel.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

. Good Problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must

. Strive to improve service performance

. Superior time management and relationship building

. Strong organization and follow up skills

. Attention to detail

EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATION:

. Degree in Hospitality Management or Tourism

. Two years' experience in same job role

. Ideally experience working in the GCC region.
