About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chief/Senior Sailing Instructor to lead our sailing program and deliver exceptional training to students of all levels. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified instructor to take on a leadership role within our prestigious international school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the school's sailing instruction program Deliver high-quality sailing courses and training to students Ensure all activities meet RYA standards and international school safety protocols Develop age-appropriate sailing curricula for different student levels Supervise and mentor junior sailing instructors and support staff Maintain boats, equipment and marina facilities to the highest standards Coordinate with school management and parents regarding student progress Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all sailing activities Organize and oversee inter-school sailing competitions and regattas Support the school's broader co-curricular program objectives

Essential Qualifications

RYA Senior Instructor qualification Current First Aid certification Proven experience in sailing instruction and team leadership Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational abilities Commitment to safety and best practices

Desirable Qualifications

RYA Powerboat Instructor qualification STCW 95 certification Driving License Previous experience in a supervisory role Additional maritime qualifications Experience working with children and young people in an educational setting Understanding of international school environments and cultures
