Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: Design, develop, implement and continuously improve OT solutions for Safety systems, in line with the ADNOC's COP, HSEMS, and HSEIA guidelines and up to industry standards, in order to ensure that the organisation's Safety systems are state-of-the-art and fit for purpose at all times. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Job Specific Accountabilities Solution Architecture, Development, Integration and Automation Understand the Safety challenges and translate into the design of Safety solutions, in line withstrategic and tactical management decisions, to ensure that Safety systems are adequately responding to needs. Deliver Safety systems design, in line with industry standards. Suggest and provide Safety solutions to business and management problems and develop innovative solutions. Lead the development of the designed solution, in line with the project plan, to ensure timely delivery. Lead the test phase, according to best practices, in order to detect problems on time. Feedback on possible issues and integrate into design flow. Lead the integration and implementation of Safety solutions into the existing environment, in order to make sure that the new system works well and on time within the existing IT infrastructure. IT Operations and Advice Provide support and advice to relevant stakeholders on problems related to Safety systems and solutions, according to best practices, in order to ensure the performance of the systems. Perform threat analysis and risk management Drive OT architecture best practices throughout the organization Provide technical leadership and consulting in one's area of expertise, in order to inform relevant stakeholders, guarantee good practices and facilitate grounded decision making Project Management Lead and/or participate in project realizations (related to infrastructure systems and devices), in line with the overall strategy and project plan, in order to ensure the realization of projects on time, within budget and according to agreed objectives. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Provide high-level technical support Deliver detailed technical support documentation Handle program- and project management in all its aspects (build business cases, obtain management and stakeholder buy-in, present project justifications, and manage project budget and financial management) Provide timely status updates to all project stakeholders, and lead/participate in meetings to ensure changes are appropriately reflected in project plans and the overall project is delivered according to the predetermined KPI's. Knowledge Management Keep track of relevant developments in OT in general and OT Safety infrastructure in particular (by attending seminars, reading professional literature, maintaining external network, etc.) exchange knowledge with colleagues and contribute to knowledge transfer within the organization, in order to be informed on trends and developments and be able to put these into practice. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Internal Peers in own team Line Manager Various internal stakeholders HSEQ External Third parties External vendors QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification Degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills 10 years of relevant experience in systems and solutions architecture Good project management skills Good communication skills Analytical and conceptual thinking Team spirit Fluent in English, Arabic in an advantage Professional Certifications Preferred with TUV CFSE or CFSP certifications
