Ensure that contractors comply with all aspects of the Worksite HSE Plan and policy; site regulations, permit to work, Worley and Customer requirements Identification of HSE requirements for the project, planning and implementation of associated activities Scoping, leading and following up HAZID, HAZOP and constructability reviews Review of design documents and plans - across all disciplines - to ensure HSE compliance and to identify specific hazards; Preparation of Hazardous Area Schedules and layouts Assist with the development and implementation of project HSE Management Systems and regularly monitor, report, audit and improve the HSE systems Carries out comprehensive investigations of all incidents and near misses to determine root causes and learning values to prevent recurrence and monitors recommendations and corrective actions Monitors the project team's adherence of relevant legal and industry safety rules and regulations Participates in developing safety campaigns and a safety award scheme Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Business Unit; understand and follow OH&S procedures Promote and maintain Worley, Customer and contractor best practice working relationships

Well-developed technical and practical skills and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers. Solid technical, practical and leadership experience in the field of safety. Should be able to communicate effectively at all levels, from site supervisors to top management Practical working knowledge of HSE auditing Must be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge and experience of health and safety management systems together with implementing and maintaining international HSE standard and compliance. A thorough understanding of industrial construction environment and proven supervisory experience in multi-disciplinary teams. BSc in Engineering or related degree is preferred NEBOSH certified is preferred Other recognized trade qualifications in the relevant discipline or equivalent experience65 Holds membership of a recognized professional safety society such as the Institute of Industrial Safety Officers (IOSH), or equivalent Experience in the Middle East is preferred Ability to write specifications and prepare mandated reports, write procedures, perform field inspections, risk assessment, review/prepares proposals and work effectively with various teams Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and a sound knowledge in relevant software
