We are looking for a health and Safety Officer to fill in our team.
Plan and implement Occupational Health & Safety [OHS] policies and programs
Adhere to all the OHS rules and regulations
Enforce preventative measures
Prepare risk assessment
Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
Review existing policies and procedures
Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations
Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety
Requirements
Education & Certifications
Bachelor?s Degree OR 2 Year Higher Diploma in Safety Management / Electrical / Mechanical
NEBOSH IGC or Acceptable IOSH/OHSAS Certificate from a reputable Institute
Experience
3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or similar role preferably in Electromechanical Contracting Sector.
Excellent knowledge of Safety legislations and procedures
Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
Experience with writing HSE Plan, Policies and Procedures for health and safety
Working knowledge of safety management information system
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
Proficient in MS Office & Computer Skills, Outstanding organizational skills, Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player, Good time-management skills, Great interpersonal and communication skills
Good report writing and presentation skills in English
Self-motivated and self-starter
