3. ensures a safe and healthy work environment by developing safety programs, conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards, and enforcing occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations
4. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop preventative strategies and safety policies
5. Ensure adherence to all relevant UAE health and safety laws and international standards, staying updated on any legislative changes
6. Perform regular inspections of the workplace, equipment, and processes to detect unsafe conditions, acts, or non-conformities
7. Record, investigate, and report on accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
8. Provide regular training to employees and workers on safe practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment
9. Develop and coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills for scenarios like fires or natural disasters
10. Maintain accurate records of safety activities, incident reports, training, and audits for management and regulatory bodies
11. In-depth knowledge of UAE safety regulations, such as those set by OSHAD
12. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Office are necessary.
