of Safety Officer Safety Officer shall be responsible for: \xef\x82\xb7 Guiding site management in the effective implementation of the HSE plan. \xef\x82\xb7 Arranging and participating in the HSE-meeting at the Project / Companies with site production / Execution team and all sub-contractor\xe2\x80\x99s management, \xef\x82\xb7 Addressing weekly HSE-meeting for all employees. \xef\x82\xb7 Conducting project inspections. \xef\x82\xb7 Participating in HSE-Audits. \xef\x82\xb7 Keeping site management informed of the latest HSE requirement. \xef\x82\xb7 Shall provide assistance and hand holding to the Drivers, Operators and Plant workforce for implementation of the HSE plan, and ERP. \xef\x82\xb7 Maintaining safety statistics. \xef\x82\xb7 Assisting management in accident investigations. \xef\x82\xb7 Monitoring waste disposal is in accordance with the waste management manual requirement. \xef\x82\xb7 Conducting and guiding all the emergency exercises. \xef\x82\xb7 Keeping monthly records of all activities required to be carried out under the HSE plan. \xef\x82\xb7 Submitting daily, weekly, and monthly records to HSE Manager at FNII Office. \xef\x82\xb7 Inspecting of project\xe2\x80\x99s / Company\xe2\x80\x99s welfare facilities and inform to Project\xe2\x80\x99s / Company\xe2\x80\x99s Manager if any change required, Shall be accountable for: \xef\x82\xb7 To ensure fulfill the requirements of the HSE Policy and contract HSE plan in the advisory capacity. \xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate the safety activities between the Client and Project team, \xef\x82\xb7 Report all incidents, injury treatment & lost time record to Project Manager / Company Manager and FNI HSE Manager \xef\x82\xb7 Report to Project Manager / Company Manager any concerns that exist regarding safety performance at project / company and client premises, \xef\x82\xb7 Reports and investigates all near misses, incidents, and accidents. \xef\x82\xb7 Organizes and coordinates internal education and training on safety related topics. \xef\x82\xb7 Organize the periodic safety committee meeting. \xef\x82\xb7 Ensures the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) complies with all standards, codes and regulations as required by law. \xef\x82\xb7 Ensures that safety equipment (incl. Fire-Fighting equipment) is always ready for use, monitors, expiry dates and inspection of requirements. \xef\x82\xb7 Organizes health care and medical control on employees including contribution to first aid and urgent medical care in case of work-related injuries. Ensure that all HSE-related documents like instructions, procedures, inspection forms and emergency plans are kept updated with the latest information. \xef\x82\xb7 Analyses all operation related risks and develops prevention measures. \xef\x82\xb7 Coordinates and monitors waste control, effluent water discharge, vapor emission and ground water quality. \xef\x82\xb7 Ensure toolbox talk have been given to workers as per job requirements from in-charge foremen, \xef\x82\xb7 Prepare monthly HSE statistics reports, check list regularly and submit to FNI HSE Manager on 1st day of every month, \xef\x82\xb7 Checking up keeping of tools, tackles, lifting machines, equipment, and concrete pumps with the help of company\xe2\x80\x99s O&M group. \xef\x82\xb7 Carry out daily safety checks on use of PPE. \xef\x82\xb7 Promoting safety consciousness at site. \xef\x82\xb7 Implementation of welfare measures for workers & staff at work site. \xef\x82\xb7 Maintaining of TP Certificates with validity dates for all equipment and machineries, \xef\x82\xb7 Update to FNI HSE Manager regarding requirement of any kind TP Trainings or TP Inspection for the project / company.
