Emirates Logistics LLC is seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to join its Dubai operations. This role is ideal for a mid-level HSE professional with strong on-site experience in logistics or warehousing environments, committed to maintaining high safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across the facility.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all Health and Safety related matters within the facility.
Prepare, implement, and maintain Health and Safety checklists as identified for the site.
Ensure all employees and workers consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Monitor timeliness, discipline, and safe conduct during working hours and break times.
Conduct daily safety rounds inside the facility and around the external perimeter to identify hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions, and coordinate corrective actions with supervisors.
Maintain discipline and harmony within the facility in coordination with supervisors and management.
Report any indiscipline, unsafe behavior, or dishonest conduct to management.
Assist in organizing and delivering periodic Health and Safety training, safety awareness sessions, and safety induction programs for staff.
Support the recording, investigation, and documentation of incident and accident reports.
Inspect, maintain, and keep accurate records of safety equipment and tools, arranging periodic inspections and repairs as required.
Manage first aid kits, maintain stock records, arrange replenishment, and provide first aid assistance to staff when necessary.
Participate in emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation drills, and lead emergency evacuations with the designated team when required.
Ensure emergency exit doors are accessible, functional, and properly maintained at all times.
Monitor and control high-risk activities within the facility to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Support implementation of proper waste management, housekeeping standards, and workplace hygiene practices.
Carry out any other tasks assigned by the department head as required.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
NEBOSH or IOSH certification is required.
Mid-level experience in a Safety or HSE role, preferably within logistics, warehousing, or industrial facilities.
Physically fit, energetic, and able to conduct regular site inspections.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify hazards and near-miss risks.
Excellent people management and discipline handling skills.
Self-disciplined with a strong commitment to upholding safety culture.
Proactive, team-oriented, and dedicated to continuous improvement.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
