Position Overview
This Safety Officer role in Dubai supports Emirates Logistics by overseeing workplace health, safety, and compliance across busy warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring safe working environments and strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all health and safety activities within the facility
• Maintain and update safety checklists
• Ensure all staff use proper PPE
• Monitor staff discipline and adherence to safety rules
• Conduct daily facility rounds inside and outside perimeter
• Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions with supervisors
• Maintain workplace harmony in coordination with supervisors and managers
• Report any indiscipline or unsafe behavior
• Assist in conducting periodic safety trainings and awareness programs
• Conduct induction safety training for new staff
• Record and maintain incident and accident reports
• Inspect and maintain safety equipment and tools
• Manage First Aid kits, stock levels, and provide basic first aid
• Participate in evacuation drills and lead emergency evacuations when required
• Ensure emergency exits are properly maintained
• Monitor high-risk activities
• Support waste management and housekeeping systems
• Handle additional tasks assigned by the department head

• NEBOSH or IOSH trained
• Physically fit and energetic
• Strong hazard awareness and attention to detail
• Effective people management skills
• Self-disciplined and committed to safety culture
