Emirates Logistics LLC is seeking a Safety Officer in Dubai, UAE to oversee workplace health and safety standards and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements. This role is key in promoting a strong safety culture, conducting regular inspections, and coordinating emergency preparedness while supporting a disciplined and productive work environment.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and coordinate health and safety activities across the facility
• Prepare and maintain safety checklists and ensure compliance at all times
• Monitor and enforce the use of PPE for all staff
• Conduct daily facility inspections and identify risks or hazards
• Report incidents of indiscipline or unsafe practices to management
• Organize and deliver safety inductions and awareness training sessions
• Record and manage incident and accident reports
• Inspect, maintain, and arrange periodic checks for safety equipment and tools
• Oversee and replenish first aid kits, and provide first aid when necessary
• Lead emergency evacuation drills and ensure exit routes remain accessible
• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure safe practices are followed
• Implement waste management and workplace hygiene systems

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree with NEBOSH or IOSH certification
• Minimum of mid-level professional experience in health and safety
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage discipline and team coordination effectively
• Proactive, energetic, and detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
• Skilled in MS Office with strong reporting and documentation abilities
