Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and enforce workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification

Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry safety regulations

Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports

Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors

Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices

Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation

Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills

Advise management on safety improvements and corrective actions

Promote a strong safety culture across the organization

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field

Professional safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) is preferred

Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role

Strong knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations

Excellent observation, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to conduct training and prepare clear reports

Attention to detail and proactive approach to risk management

With 3-4 years of UAE experience and Valid UAE driving license.
