Monitor and enforce compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and UAE safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure safe working practices.
Prepare and maintain safety inspection reports and documentation.
Identify potential risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct Toolbox Talks (TBT), safety inductions, and training sessions for workers.
Ensure all workers use proper PPE and maintain safety standards at all times.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents; prepare reports with root cause analysis.
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure safe operations.
Maintain records of incidents, safety violations, and corrective actions taken.
Ensure emergency response plans are in place and conduct periodic drills.
Monitor and ensure the proper use and maintenance of safety equipment.
Assist in developing risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and HSE plans.
Liaise with external safety consultants, auditors, and government authorities when required.
Ensure safety signages, barricades, and housekeeping standards are properly maintained on site.
Support management in implementing continuous improvements to safety processes
Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
Certified in NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA (preferred).
Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and safety regulations.
Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
Ability to lead safety meetings and training sessions.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in construction or industrial safety roles.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle pressure.
