Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and responsible

Safety Officer

to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in implementing and monitoring

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

standards at construction sites in the UAE. The candidate must hold a valid

NEBOSH certification

and ensure that all site activities comply with local safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on all project sites. Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards or unsafe practices. Prepare and maintain safety reports, checklists, and inspection records. Deliver toolbox talks and safety training sessions for workers and site staff. Ensure all personnel follow PPE requirements and safe working procedures. Report and investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and management to ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist in preparing documentation required by consultants or authorities related to site safety.

Requirements:

Minimum

1 year UAE experience

as a Safety Officer in the

construction/building contracting industry

. Must hold a valid

NEBOSH (IGC) certification

. Knowledge of

UAE safety regulations and site safety procedures

. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to conduct safety training and promote a strong safety culture at site.

Education & Certification:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).

NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)

- Mandatory.
