Construction HSE Job Title: Construction Safety Officer

Preference: Candidates with UAE experience are highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Develop and enforce site -specific safety plans and emergency response procedures.
Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to workers and subcontractors.
Maintain and update all safety documentation, including incident reports, risk assessments, and safety logs.
Investigate accidents or incidents to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Ensure all workers are using the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to promote a safety -first culture on-site.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with local HSE laws and standards .
Good knowledge of dealing with computer programs?.
Knowledge of Dubai law and RTA laws.
Qualifications & Requirements
:
NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH or equivalent HSE certification is required .
Bachelor's d egree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry .
UAE work experience is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and safety regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
