Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Safety Officer

to oversee and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies across our operations. The ideal candidate will hold valid NEBOSH and OSHAD certifications and have at least 5 years of proven experience in a safety role within the UAE, preferably in industrial, construction, or waste management sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and enforce company HSE policies in accordance with UAE labor laws and regulatory standards Ensure full compliance with

OSHAD

guidelines and maintain required documentation for audits and inspections Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks to site personnel and subcontractors Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and recommendations Maintain and update all safety-related records, including permits, inspections, and compliance checklists Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure safe work practices are integrated into daily operations Liaise with external authorities (e.g., OSHAD, Civil Defense, Municipality) when required Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across all teams

Requirements:

Minimum

5 years of UAE experience

as a Safety Officer Valid

NEBOSH IGC

certification Valid

OSHAD certificate

(Practitioner or equivalent) Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and local safety compliance practices Good communication and reporting skills Ability to work independently and take initiative in high-pressure environments

Preferred:

Experience in the industrial, recycling, construction, or heavy machinery sector Familiarity with EHS software systems and audit preparation

Pay: AED4,000.00 per month
