Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced

Safety Officer

to join our team in a cable manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, enforcing health and safety policies, conducting regular audits, and ensuring full compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor occupational health and safety programs across the manufacturing plant. Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures in production, storage, and dispatch areas. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA). Carry out regular inspections and safety audits on machinery, electrical systems, and cable production lines. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. Deliver safety training and awareness programs for plant workers and staff. Maintain and update safety records, permits, and inspection reports. Promote a strong safety culture across all departments.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in a manufacturing environment (preferably cable or heavy industry). Strong knowledge of safety management systems and risk assessment tools. Certified in NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent HSE certification (preferred). Familiarity with machinery safety, electrical safety standards, and emergency procedures. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
