Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
Minimum 3 years in UAE of experience in a Safety Officer role within the construction industry.
Knowledge of local HSE laws and construction safety standards.
NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification (preferred).
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Monitor and enforce use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Deliver safety induction and toolbox talks to workers and subcontractors.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
Maintain accurate HSE records, including safety logs, inspection reports, and permits.
Ensure compliance with all local laws and safety codes.
Assist in the development and review of the company's HSE policies and procedures.
Coordinate emergency response drills and first-aid arrangements on site.
