Job Description

The Construction Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment on construction sites by enforcing health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and educating workers on safety practices. This role ensures compliance with UAE Law, and federal safety laws to prevent accidents and injuries.

Monitor Construction Sites:

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Risk Assessments:

Perform thorough risk assessments and implement control measures.

Safety Training:

Organize and deliver training sessions on safety practices and emergency procedures.

Compliance Oversight:

Ensure all workers comply with OSHAD, UAE labor laws, and company safety policies.

Incident Investigation:

Investigate accidents and near-misses, and develop reports with recommendations to prevent recurrence.

Safety Documentation:

Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and safety meetings.

PPE Management:

Ensure appropriate use and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Emergency Response:

Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans.

Liaison Role:

Communicate with site managers, engineers, and external auditors regarding safety compliance.

Continuous Improvement:

Recommend improvements to safety programs and procedures.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field (preferred) Certification in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and construction practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Proficiency in report writing and safety management software
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
