Key Responsibilities:
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with established safety standards and procedures.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on site and rectify non-compliance issues.
Prepare and maintain safety documentation including risk assessments, method statements, and incident reports.
Organize and deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for workers.
Investigate incidents, accidents, or near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Liaise with the project management team, subcontractors, and site personnel to enforce safety protocols.
Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper safety signage across the site.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local health and safety laws and standards applicable to MEP works.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction safety, preferably within MEP projects.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or 3-Year Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
Certifications:
NEBOSH IGC is mandatory.
Skills:
Strong communication, reporting, and observational skills.
