We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer to join our warehouse team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse employees. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the warehouse facility to identify hazards and potential risks. Collaborate with management and employees to address safety concerns and develop solutions. Provide safety training to warehouse staff on topics such as equipment operation, hazard recognition, and emergency procedures. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintain safety records and documentation, including incident reports and training records. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging safety trends. Act as a resource and advisor to management and staff on safety-related matters. Requirements: Proven experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
