Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures on construction sites
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company HSE standards
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training to workers and staff
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports
Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce safe work practices
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on safety matters
Maintain safety documentation, permits, and inspection records
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience
as a Safety Officer (Construction sector only)
NEBOSH Certification - Mandatory
Construction site experience - Mandatory
Strong knowledge of HSE laws, regulations, and best practices
Ability to work independently and manage site safety operations
