Fahed Group is a leading organization in Qatar, committed to excellence and safety in all our operations. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team and ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments on-site.
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and international standards.
Provide safety training and awareness programs for staff and subcontractors.
Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain safety documentation and report safety performance metrics.
Collaborate with project teams to promote a safety-first culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in safety management
Valid Qatar safety certifications such as NEBOSH International General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent., or Qatar Energy approval
Qatar safety certification such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) or a valid Qatar Safety Awareness card (Qatar Labour Safety Card).
Strong knowledge of Qatar safety regulations and international standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
