Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and client safety standards at oil & gas sites. Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits for operations. Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety training tailored to oil & gas activities. Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce safety protocols in high-risk operational zones. Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions; prepare comprehensive reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain HSE documentation and compliance records as per project, client, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated with Qatar's HSE regulations and international best practices specific to oil & gas.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related discipline. Minimum

5 years of HSE experience

in the oil & gas sector (preferably in Qatar or GCC region). Valid HSE certifications (e.g.,

NEBOSH IGC

, IOSH, OSHA). In-depth knowledge of oil & gas operational hazards, safety systems, and control measures. Familiar with Qatar's HSE regulatory framework and standards. Strong communication, reporting, and incident investigation skills. Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and under high-risk operational environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with offshore/onshore oil & gas facilities. Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. Arabic language skills (an advantage, but not required).
