Implement and maintain health, safety, and fire protocols within a hospital or clinic environment. This often includes ensuring compliance with local authorities and the Ministry of Health. Support accreditation and quality standards such as JCI. NMC Healthcare emphasizes active participation in JCI compliance and safety management frameworks

Responsibilities:

Fire & general safety systems: Ensure functionality of fire detection systems, conduct fire drills, and train staff in fire equipment usage.
Security coordination: Supervise security staff and maintain safe environments for staff, visitors, and patients.
Incident investigation & risk assessment: Investigate accidents or near-misses; conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures.
Training & awareness: Deliver safety training covering emergency response, chemical handling, PPE use, and fire safety.
Audits & inspections: Perform regular safety audits and inspections, oversee PPE usage, waste management, environmental testing, and contractor compliance.
Documentation & reporting: Maintain HSE logs, prepare reports, manage alarms and safety data sheets, handle first-aid and emergency equipment checks. Liaise with relevant authorities as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in safety management / occupational health / environmental health / engineering, or a related field.
