Implement company safety policies and procedures.
Stay updated on new laws and industry best practices.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents to determine root causes.
Organize and conduct safety training programs for employees.
Promote safety awareness through meetings, drills, and campaigns.
Ensure workers are trained in emergency procedures (fire safety, first aid, etc.).
Maintain safety records, including incident reports and inspection logs.
Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Monitor safety performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Develop and implement emergency response plans.
Coordinate drills (fire, evacuation, chemical spills, etc.).
Ensure availability and maintenance of safety equipment (fire extinguishers, PPE, etc.).
