afety Inspector - Job Responsibilities (UAE)
?Inspection & Compliance
Conduct regular inspections at sites (construction, industrial, oil & gas, etc.) to ensure adherence to local and international safety standards. Check the condition and usage of
personal protective equipment (PPE)
. Monitor work practices and environmental conditions for safety violations. Verify that machinery and equipment meetUAE regulatory standards
.Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed inspection reports. Record safety violations and non-compliance issues. Prepare documentation for regulatory audits or internal reviews.
Hazard Identification
Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors. Recommend immediate corrective actions. Follow up on previously identified hazards to ensure they've been addressed.
Permit Verification
Check the proper use of
Permit to Work (PTW)
systems. Ensure proper approvals are obtained for hot work, confined space entry, lifting operations, etc.Incident Response Support
Assist in investigating accidents or near-misses. Gather evidence and support root cause analysis.Training & Awareness
Participate in safety briefings and toolbox talks. Educate workers on safe work practices and HSE compliance.
Liaison with Authorities
Support audits by
Civil Defense, Dubai Municipality, OSHAD, or ADNOC
, depending on the emirate and industry. Ensure the site complies withlegal and regulatory requirements
.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
Experience:
as Safety Inspector: 1 year (Preferred) * UAE: 1 year (Required)
