Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

(Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).

NEBOSH IGC

or equivalent HSE certification is mandatory.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer

in construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, or related industries. Strong knowledge of

OSHA, ISO 45001, and other international HSE standards.

Excellent communication, reporting, and training skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to diverse working environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor the company's occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies. Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to eliminate or minimize unsafe conditions. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures. Ensure compliance with relevant Qatari labor laws, HSE regulations, and client requirements. Coordinate and conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors. Maintain safety records, documentation, and reports required by management and regulatory authorities. Liaise with government bodies, external auditors, and clients on health and safety matters. Support project teams with safety input during planning, execution, and completion stages. Promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
