Safety Engineer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Safety Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to ensure that the safety plan is in compliance with corporate policy and prevailing safety requirements. .

What You\'ll Be Doing:

Review Site safety Plan, Emergency plan, and other safety related plans submitted by the contractor.

Review Method Statement and risk analysis for all activities and monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures.

Carry out HSE inspections and report to resident engineer for immediate rectification.

Review and monitor contractors monthly HSE inspections / reports.

Conducting monthly Safety meetings, setting the target to achieve the outstanding issues, prepare / submit the minutes to all concern to follow-up.

Review emergency preparedness and response, permit to work system, Toolbox Talks, HSE statistics & records of the contractors according to company requirement.

Review incident/accident investigation reports from contractors, reporting & communicating the learning points, and monitor the immediate action and follow-up actions to minimize / prevent from re-occurrence.

What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering or other construction related Engineering Degree.

Must have Internationally approved Safety courses such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH.

Minimum 10 years of experience as Safety Engineer in infrastructure projects in UAE.

Requires a working knowledge of Federal Laws, Dubai Municipality Code of Construction safety Practice. Technical Guidelines, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.

What Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:

• ISO Certification (management systems).
