About The Role Our position Safety and Health Expert, based in Casablanca, Morocco. This is a full time position but part-time working is also possible.

Safety and Health Expert is responsible of building a HSE culture inside the plant based on the EMEA and global strategy. Partnering with management team and worker to reach a "0 accidents" culture throughout the plant.

Key Responsibilities Include Assist with the implementation of the S&H policy and S&H Management System Maintain all the required S&H documentation, operational checks and reports for Barry Callebaut Casablanca Maintain and follow up action plan to ensure legal compliance on S&H is met. Conduct in house trainings with managers and employees about health and safety hazards and related risks Assist in carrying out risk assessments with relevant stakeholders to determine how risks could be reduced Coordinate and participate in the investigation of incidents/accidents and near misses (Root cause analysis) ensuring that corrective and preventative measures are identified and documented Audit work being performed with under 'Permit to Work' procedure Conduct emergency response exercises and drills; ensuring the highest level of preparedness in any emergency, also to record such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements Maintain operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented Maintain records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements Identify and assess hazards, risks and control measures for a specific operation or process Conduct ongoing review of operations and processes to identify potential hazards, risks and control measures that should be implemented to reduce these risks, including all costs involved in implementing such measures Assess and document hazards, risks and controls in a manner consistent with established procedures and practices Set up and supervising temporary work areas Supervise the safe handling, storage & disposal of hazardous materials ant the operation of any potential hazards in the workplace Improve workplace safety and employee productivity by transitioning from manual safety procedures to digital safety management systems where possible Ensure that all company employees meet all OSHA requirements or equivalent Provide OSHA training where necessary Investigate workplace accidents and injuries and refer them to the proper authorities Maintain records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements Keeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all the SHE legislation

About You Degree in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering, and a certification in safety practices. Relevant S&H qualification according Morocco legislation At least 5 years' experience in a similar role within Manufacturing/ FMCG sector Fluent in English and French Strong training background Ability to interact across all levels in the organization and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
