Reporting to Assistant Restaurant Manager/ Restaurant Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
Greeting and acknowledging guests whilst building a rapport.
Recognising repeat guests and addressing them with their names.
Delivers food and beverages in a timely fashion.
Assisting F&B Server(s) as requested/needed.
Double checking food coming out of the kitchen for any dietary/allergens needs flagged.
Ensuring that all ordered food is announced to guests at their table.
Communicating guest complaints and compliments to management.
Communicating guest special occasion to staff/management i.e. anniversaries, birthdays, proposals etc.
Be knowledgeable of food and drink menus offered and be able to answer queries and/or offer suggestions if asked.
Qualifications
Previous experience within Five Star Luxury hotel would be an advantage.
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Good communication skill.
Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
