Job Description
We are looking for a
Ruby Developer
to join a strong engineering team (currently 10 Backend Engineers) at the prop trading company based in Dubai. This role is full-time on-site in Dubai.Tech Stack:
Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, PostgreSQL, RSpec, AWS.Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services in Ruby; Work with large datasets and optimize system performance; Build and support integrations with trading platforms and APIs (MT4/MT5); Contribute to architecture decisions and infrastructure improvements; Ensure reliability through testing, monitoring, and CI/CD practices; Collaborate closely with backend, product, and trading teams.
What kind of qualifications we are looking for:
5+ years of experience as a software engineer; Strong expertise in Ruby and OOP principles; Experience with high-load data processing; Experience with MT4/MT5 Manager API is a strong plus; Experience in trading platforms/trading industry is a big plus; Knowledge of infrastructure setup and maintenance; Experience with frontend frameworks (React) is a plus; Familiarity with CI/CD environments.
