The Solution Architect is responsible for defining the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture for transformation program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role ensures that business requirements are translated into scalable, secure, and integrated SAP solutions that align with Enterprise IT landscape and strategic objectives.
The Solution Architect will provide design authority across functional and technical domains, guiding workstreams on solution decisions, ensuring compliance with best practices, and managing integration with legacy and third-party systems. The role requires deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, excellent cross-module understanding, and the ability to balance business, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Serve as the
design authority
, reviewing and approving functional and technical design decisions across modules and integrations.
Ensure
end-to-end solution consistency
, covering process flows, data models, interfaces, and security.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that
process design and system architecture
are fit-for-purpose and scalable.
Define and oversee the
integration strategy
for SAP with legacy systems, third-party applications, and cloud platforms.
Drive the
data migration and data governance strategy
, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance.
Work closely with Basis, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure
performance, availability, and resilience
of the SAP landscape.
Ensure compliance with
KSA regulatory standards
, cybersecurity requirements, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
Provide thought leadership on
SAP innovations
(e.g., SAP BTP, AI/ML, analytics, automation).
Support governance forums by presenting
architecture options, trade-offs, and recommendations
.
Collaborate with the Program Director, Project Managers, and QA Lead to ensure solution quality and delivery assurance.
Mentor consultants and guide workstream leads on architectural principles and integration patterns.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
SAP Certified Technology/ Application Professional in relevant modules (S/4HANA, Integration, or Cloud).
Enterprise Architecture certification (TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent) desirable.
Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP) preferred.
Experience
12-15 years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years as a
Solution Architect
on large-scale SAP programs.
Proven experience in
SAP S/4HANA end-to-end implementations
(at least two full cycles).
Strong cross-functional knowledge in
Finance, Logistics, Procurement, HCM, and Analytics
.
Experience in
multi-vendor and hybrid cloud/on-premise SAP landscapes
.
Familiarity with
public sector or regulated industry implementations
in KSA/GCC highly desirable.
Technical & Functional Skills
Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture, including
core modules and industry solutions

Deep understanding of
integration technologies
(CPI, PI/PO, APIs, middleware).
Hands-on knowledge of
data migration strategies and tools
(SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit).
Strong awareness of
security and compliance frameworks
(SoD, GRC, cybersecurity).
Familiarity with
BTP services, Fiori, and SAP Analytics Cloud

Ability to evaluate and recommend
new SAP technologies and innovations
