We are hiring a skilled Rotating Equipment Technician with hands-on experience in the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of pumps, motors, compressors, and other rotating machinery. The ideal candidate will have expertise in alignment, diagnostics, and the use of precision tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair, and overhaul pumps, motors, compressors, and mechanical seals. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as per schedules. Carry out disassembly, inspection, diagnostics, and reassembly of rotating equipment. Ensure precision alignment and proper tolerances using tools like laser alignment kits and micrometers. Support rotor/stator alignment, balancing, and vibration checks. Coordinate with electrical teams for joint testing and commissioning. Adhere to all safety and quality procedures in workshop and site environments.
Requirements:
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years' experience in rotating equipment maintenance, preferably in oil & gas or heavy industry. Strong technical understanding and mechanical diagnostics. Familiar with safety practices and mechanical tools used in workshops and field settings.
