The PES ENGINEERING Company provides engineering and technical services (Civil, Rotating Machinery, Static Equipment, Process, HSE Design, Electro-instrumental, Layout & Piping), offering over 200000 hours of engineering per year to all major Oil & Gas Companies, EPC Contractors, Industrial Manufacturers, etc.

Currently, PES ENGINEERING Company can count on 7 Locations in Italy: HQ in Rosignano Solvay (LI), San Donato Milanese, Florence, Rome, Bari, Vibo Marina (VV), Gela.

Abroad, PES ENGINEERING Company is present in 3 countries (UK London, UAE Abu Dhabi, Romania). In addition, a series of strategic partnerships, signed in practically all continents, support the Company to perform multidisciplinary engineering, service, service management, inspection & expediting, recruitment & hiring of local personnel.

The candidate will be involved in the following activities:

• Perform the design activities and issue the deliverables assigned to him, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety/environment requirements, within the specific time schedule and cost
• Be a technical reference point in the mechanical discipline for Rotating Equipment
• Review contractual technical documentation and requirements
• Prepare/check the technical documentation for Rotating Equipment requisition and deliverables relevant to Machinery and issued by mechanical discipline: Design Criteria, Technical Specifications, Mechanical Data Sheets, inspection data sheets, Material Requisitions (MR) and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE)
• Perform basic sizing or design calculations for Machinery according to applicable codes in order to define main equipment features
• Review Vendor documentation relevant to Machinery and interact with Suppliers for the technical issues (Vendor follow-up)
• Ensure proper coordination with other Engineers

The ideal candidate must have gained the following skills and be in possession of the following requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering (Note: a significant previous experience in the mechanical engineering sector could compensate for the lack of Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree)
• Mechanical Engineering background
• Knowledge of main international codes, standards and best engineering practices for Machinery&Packages
• Minimun 3 years experience in Machinery&Packages Engineering in EPC Oil&Gas/Petrochemical/Energy projects,
• RESIDENCE IN THE AREA OF THE PLACE OF WORK
• English fluency is essential
