Job Title: ROS2 Engineer

Our focus is on cutting-edge robotics, automation, and intelligent systems tailored for industrial, commercial, and service applications across the UAE and the Middle East.

We are seeking talented ROS2 Engineers to join our growing team in Dubai and contribute to building next-generation robotic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Meeting the client and converting the requirement into suitable solutions

Should have great knowledge, access, and connections with major robotics brands

Must be a candidate who can build a team with the right candidates and become the next team leader for the department

Design, develop, and maintain robotic applications using ROS2 (Robot Operating System 2).

Implement navigation, perception, control, and manipulation modules for mobile and service robots.

Develop and integrate drivers, nodes, and middleware for various sensors (LIDAR, cameras, IMU, etc.) and actuators.

Work with simulation tools (Gazebo, RViz, Ignition, Webots, or similar) to test and validate robotic systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware-software integration.

Optimize robotic algorithms for real-time performance and reliability.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Troubleshoot and debug robotic systems both in simulation and real-world environments.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.

2+ years of hands-on experience with ROS2 in real-world robotic projects.

Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.

Experience with robotic perception (OpenCV, PCL, YOLO, or other vision frameworks).

Knowledge of robotic navigation and SLAM (Nav2, Cartographer, etc.).

Familiarity with Linux environments and development tools (Git, Docker, CI/CD).

Experience integrating hardware interfaces such as sensors, cameras, and motor controllers.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for robotics applications.

Hands-on experience with autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), service robots, or drones.

Knowledge of real-time systems (RTOS) and embedded programming.

Experience with cloud robotics and edge computing solutions.

Contribution to open-source robotics projects.
