The Rope Access Technician Level 1 is responsible for performing various maintenance, inspection, and cleaning tasks at height using rope access techniques, in compliance with IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) standards and company safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out rope access work as directed by the Level 3 Supervisor.
Perform cleaning, painting, inspection, and minor repair tasks at height or difficult-to-access areas.
Ensure all rope access equipment is properly maintained and inspected before and after use.
Follow all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures and site regulations.
Assist in rigging ropes, anchors, and fall protection systems under supervision.
Maintain clear communication with the team and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
Support other technicians and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
Record daily work activities and submit work reports as required.
Requirements:
Certification:
IRATA Level 1 (valid and in-date).
Experience:
0-2 years of rope access experience (freshly certified candidates may be considered).
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical background preferred).
Skills:
Basic understanding of rope access systems and safety procedures.
Ability to work at height and in various weather conditions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical fitness
and medical clearance for working at height.
