The Rolling stock Maintenance Technician will be part of the Rolling Stock Maintenance team and will report directly to the Rolling Stock Maintenance Manager.
What are my responsibilities?
The Rolling stock Maintenance Technician will be responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the complete System.
Your responsibilities include:

• Perform all levels of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and modifications.
• Able to read and understand the Electrical schematic. Maintenance Operator / Field Modification.
• Perform wheel re-profiling of the rolling stock using under-floor wheel lathe.
• Work with MAXIMO. -Perform shift and emergency duties when required.
• Drive work vehicles when responding to emergencies and when required on duty.
• Drive the train when required on duty at depot premises.
• Absolute respect and strict application of the maintenance procedure and quality process.
• Ensure a consistent quality standards management in line with ALSTOM transport.
• Know and utilize Safe work procedure.
• Implementation and follow up of Alstom EHS requirements, taking part in weekly toolbox talks meetings as well as safety and systems training.

Minimum qualifications:

• Engineering degree or equivalent; Preferably an Associate degree (A.S.) in a related mechanical or technical discipline and/or Vocational Training/Certification in a related discipline
• Minimum experience of 5 years in railway industry preferably Tramway / Metro
• Fluent in English, Arabic will be a plus
• EHS knowledge and exposure
