ABOUT THE FUNCTION
This function is to provide support to the company\xe2\x80\x99s accounting activities that include maintaining and reporting on both the cost and financial sets of accounts based on statutory requirements and auditing policies. Participate in supporting and affirming the service culture and contributing to the improvement process along with complying with the work directives, policies and procedures of the Company.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Minimum of a high school diploma in Financial Accounting / College degree in Commerce or a related field is preferred
• Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as an Accountant in a Supervisory role / similar experience in a 5 star hospitality industry. Excellent Excel skills and knowledgeable in using Microsoft Financial and IBM Planning Systems

PERFORMANCE DRIVEN CULTURE; WHAT WILL YOU BE MEASURED AGAINST

• Ensuring compliance with Financial and Cost Accounting Systems and Financial Policies and procedure of the Company
• Understanding of financial data, interpreting financial reports, conducting research across the organization, generating statistics to drive the business forward and knowing the market trends
• Compliance with both internal and external Audit requirements
• Revenue reconciliation - Micros - Opera - ERP - Power BI and general cashier report preparations, JV postings, Bank Transfer in ERP
• Responsible in monitoring Cash Overage and Shortage Report, to check banquet revenue and compare with daily summary sheet
• Prepare credit card reconciliation and verify credit card refunds approvals through i-memo and maintain Gift Voucher Tracking Sheet on the redeemed vouchers and verification of Petty Cash Reimbursements and approvals in ERP
• Reconciliation and checking of municipality service charge revenue and checking between Micros Opera - ERP and Power BI to confirm all the revenues are recorded and prepare reports.
• Preparation of outlet tips summary, maintain and update Deferred Income Schedule.
• Cash Float Count & Verification and upload any Invoices related to finance in ERP.
• Liaise with IBU Management for Service fees budget preparations and raise invoices for hotel fees
• Verifies and books invoices from various IBU relating to LEC for payment Assisting the External Auditors with the Audit requirements.
• Assisting the DTCM Auditors and TD Auditors with the Audit requirements. Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
