Location : East Africa We are a Speciality Coffee Cafe looking for Roast Master to ensure that the Roastery produces the highest quality of roasted coffee for Bunna House Accommodations and Benefits will be provided

• Salary Package : 1500.00 $ - 2000.00$

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conducts roasting operations to create finished coffee products that meet or exceed the highest standards of quality.
• Implements roasting, flavoring and packaging production runs to meet scheduling requirements per established work standards.
• Ensures the highest quality of the ingredients, manages suppliers & ingredient research
• Conducts packaging line operations. Inspects and tests all packaging equipment, troubleshooting and maintenance according to established schedule.
• Inspect each roast for company specs, make adjustments as necessary to roast and observe equipment.
• Must be able to work in a high level production environment with the ability to understand and operate complex equipment such as PLCs, operating control systems, roasters, blenders and grinders that interfaces with machines.
• Record roast data, weights, coffee types.
• Manage roasting process from selecting profile to scheduling to packaging in order to ensure on time customer delivery.
• Follows established guidelines, procedures, policies, practices and methods necessary to maximize coffee quality and food safety standards.
• Shares the culture of drinking coffee & expanding the knowledge of the company's team
• Optimizes the cafe workflow in all restaurants of the brand according to the restaurant operations
• Analyzes the sales & customer's demand with providing the most suitable menu offer.

Requirements:

• Must have good knowledge for preparing all types of Coffee.
• Minimum of five years roasting experience.

• Must have experience with roasting software.

• Knowledge of green bean quality and how roasted quality affects it.

• Must be able to produce a high quality product in a fast paced multi-tasking environment.

• Able to use and understand roasting profiles.
• Flexible, self motivated team player with the ability to follow direction and at times work independently.
• Ability to get along with others and have a positive attitude and good work ethic.

• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail is a must and ability to lead, train and motivate others.

Languages

• English is a must.
• Ability to speak French is an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month Experience:

• Roast Master: 3 years (Required)
