Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented

Roads and Pavements Lead

to join our team! In this role you will oversee the review, analysis, and updates of standards and specifications related to roadways and pavement design, construction, and maintenance. This role will ensure that all updates align with international best practices, local regulations, and sustainable infrastructure goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

Review and analyze existing standards and specifications for roads and pavements. Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in road and pavement design, materials, and construction practices. Benchmark local standards against GCC and international best practices to propose updates and enhancements. Collaborate with stakeholders to finalize modifications and updates to road and pavement-related documents. Ensure that proposed updates incorporate sustainable practices, including lifecycle cost optimization and durability improvements. Provide technical expertise on road and pavement-related issues during stakeholder meetings and workshops.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven 10 years experience in road and pavement design, construction, and maintenance. Strong understanding of international standards and best practices for road infrastructure. Proven experience working on updates to technical standards, guidelines, and specifications, ideally within a government or local authority context.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Familiarity with Abu Dhabi's local regulations and standards is an advantage. Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
