Conduct initial patient assessment, including vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit.
Prepare patients for physician examination and assist during minor procedures.
Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Provide comprehensive patient education on disease management, medication, and healthy lifestyle practices.
Ensure accurate and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
Manage patient flow and scheduling to minimize wait times while maintaining a high standard of care.
Maintain strict infection control protocols and ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the clinical area.
Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy, both in-person and over the phone.
Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Act as a linguistic and cultural bridge for Tagalog-speaking patients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their care plan.
Requirements:
Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an OPD, clinic, or similar outpatient setting.
Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
Proficiency in venipuncture and administering injections.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient rapport.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
