The Risk Officer is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and managing risks associated with real estate investments, development projects, and property management. This role ensures that the organization's real estate portfolio complies with regulatory standards, minimizes financial exposure, and aligns with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Formulation
Formulate ADG's strategy in collaboration with the ADG Board and ensure the translation of the overall strategic direction from the board into the business plan.
Oversee the implementation of strategies that generate resources and returns to meet commitments to all stakeholders
Risk Identification & Assessment
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments related to property acquisitions, disposals, development, and management.
Identify potential legal, financial, operational, and market risks impacting real estate portfolios.
Conduct thorough due diligence on property portfolios, including legal, financial, and market risks.
Operational Activities
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies tailored to ADG projects.
Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive mitigation measures.
Conduct thorough due diligence on property portfolios, including legal, financial, and market risks.
Stay informed about changes in regulations, market trends, and industry best practices affecting real estate risks.
Analyse and review existing business processes to identify the gap analysis of inefficiency, non-compliance, or risk.
Develop contingency plans for potential crises such as natural disasters, accidents, or legal disputes.
Lead or support incident investigations and follow-up actions.
Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager
Insurance & Financial Risk Management
Recommend continuous process improvement strategies for business processes based on risk findings.
Oversee insurance coverage for properties and development projects.
Analyze financial risks related to investments, loans, and cash flows.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with legal, finance, development, and property management teams to address risk concerns.
Provide risk awareness training and guidance to relevant teams.
Risk Reports
Maintain accurate risk registers and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Document risk assessments, mitigation plans, and incident reports.
Educational Qualifications
Required Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration , Legal or Risk Management
Professional certifications in risk management, professional certificate in risk.
Work Experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the same or any related field with Real Estate, Property Management or similar service industry.
Proficiency in English & Arabic Language
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge in Yardi system or any other.

Pay: Up to AED12,000.00 per month
