Presently, the company has around 40 employees spread across Europe and Dubai and is venturing into the US market following successful expansion in other regions. With an estimated capital of $80-100 million, this firm boasts substantial financial prowess.
The team is actively seeking a Senior Head of Risk to join forces across multiple facets of the business. Responsibilities
- Proactively analyze firm and trader risk on an ongoing basis to ensure a comprehensive understanding of potential exposures.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to address violations of risk parameters, particularly for complex positions, ensuring timely and effective risk management.
- Apply both fundamental and technical analysis techniques to stay informed about market activity, providing valuable insights for risk assessment and decision-making.
- Communicate regularly with traders and upper management, providing updates on risk assessments and market conditions to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Create and implement risk parameters, adjusting them as necessary to adapt to evolving market conditions and trading strategies.
- Manage the liquidation process for closed accounts, ensuring a smooth and controlled exit strategy in line with risk management objectives.
- Collaborate with the IT department to enhance proprietary risk management software, improving its effectiveness and efficiency.
