Responsible to develop innovative solutions to deliver Customer outcomes and drive growth while managing company risk/reward In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Essential Responsibilities Supports Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA) Multiyear Agreement (MYA) Finance Leader in forecasting and pacing margin review results, formulation of business plans and assessment of high-risk contracts through termination and deferred risk reviews. Stays informed of industry trends and macroeconomic factors which may impact long term services agreements. Main tasks include:
  • Monitor contract margin reviews and prepare Margin Adjustment pacing tracker
  • Support formulation of business session plans (SII, OP, quarterly forecast etc.)
  • Review termination rights, help commercial teams developing strategies to protect Contractual Services Agreement (CSA)
  • Run billing escalation scenarios based on latest indices
  • Maintain Contractual Performance Management (CPM) fee catalog and cost liquidation process
  • Prepare and update deferred risk tracker for contractual service agreements
  • Support in stress testing of assets based on macroeconomic factors
  • Support the Regional Customer Services (CS) & Portfolio Health leaders in rolling out the new Portfolio Health Framework and support projects to implement new tools and processes that will help the business have a strong risk management strategy
  • Partner with the Controllership team on the quarterly impairment reviews i.e. the High-Risk Contract Reviews and ensure that the business always has an up-to-date understanding of the highest risk contracts and their estimated impact to the business
  • Engage in continuous improvement of Risk Identification and Mitigation Processes using LEAN tools and principles
  • Partner with commercial, operational, financial, and business intelligence teams on how to better utilize risk metrics and market trends for their respective benefits (sales, costs, risks, etc.) including continuously assessing the current risk reserves for their accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Lead /coach / mentor Finance Management Programs (FMP) and inspire peers and partner functions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or relevant area in Energy industry
  • Proactive attitude to simplify processes and tools
  • Commitment to excellence and team work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English
Desired Characteristics
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Business Administration/ Finance from an accredited college or university
  • Strong interpersonal & leadership abilities
  • Finance Management Program (FMP) / Operation Finance Leadership Program (OFLP) Experience desired
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple demanding priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and operate sophisticated technical and financial models
  • Ability to support the Risk function, knowledge of gas turbine contracts processes & execution
